Mrs. Darya Shahbazy, proud cofounder of Serenity Wellness Center, received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She is proudly multilingual in English, Farsi, and Spanish. Mrs. Shahbazy serves as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Intern (LCPC-Intern). Mrs. Shahbazy is also a member of the company's Clinical Board, the American Counseling Association (ACA), and National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
With over 15 years of experience Mrs. Shahbazy possess' a strong background with children with disabilities, multiculturalism, and the mental health community overall.
Ms. Dorine Haynes, proud cofounder of Serenity Wellness Center, is a certified Nevada Qualified Behavior Aide (QBA) whose services fall under the scope of rehabilitative mental health interventions designed to reduce cognitive and behavioral impairments and restore recipients to their highest level of functioning with the guidance of a basic skills provider.
With over 7 years of experience Ms. Haynes possess' a strong business, administrative, billing and coding, leadership, and mental health services background.
Mrs. Jennifer Somma received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Phoenix. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Intern (LCPC-Intern) and has over 10 years’ experience in the mental health and behavioral health field. Her professional experiences include working with a diverse population from children, teens, adults and seniors with a variety of different mental health needs.
Mrs. Christina Parise received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and a Masters of Social Work from University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Mrs. Parise is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with over 11 years experience in the mental health/behavioral health field, and is also a member of the company’s Clinical Board. Mrs. Parise works with clients to address a variety of behavioral and emotional concerns incorporating a holistic approach to treatment. She often uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy treatment modalities. Mrs. Parise strives to provide an open and supportive environment, with treatment that is individualized for each client to grow and receive the help they deserve and need.
